Now let’s go racing!
Yes, it was cold, damp
and gloomy but the Georgetown Women’s LW 8+ won their race in a time of 6:27.90 beating out Dayton and George Mason in the three-way competition.
If you look closely at the final results, which can be found HERE, it appears the LW’s had a better time than the Georgetown Women’s OW 8+ (6:32.80), just saying! Look at race #19 on Saturday's results list for the LW team times and race #18 for the OW team times.

While I don’t know
everything about rowing (give me time people - it took me years to figure out that thing Mav use to yell at volleyball games - side out!), but they tell me the OW teams should outperform the LW
teams every time.
All I can say to that is way to go Taylor, Ellie and your boat mates for a great race today!

And as a side bar, while
driving home, snow flurries were in the air. Having said that, there was a large contingent of spectators, including myself, that were bundled up and had a great time
watching the races from the Georgetown Waterfront area.

morning race and prep, as well as, some candid’s of Taylor, Ellie and friends go HERE.
